Meeting is at 8pm in the ECC rooms. CLINTON MCKARY MAKES PRIME MINISTERS XI ( Sponsored by Impulse Fashions Moonee Ponds ) ECC Fast Bowler and club favourite Clinton McKay has been selected to represent Australia in the Annual Prime Ministers X1 against New Zealand on thursday Jan 29. Around 100 ECC Ladies and friends turned up for the Annual ECC Ladies Day on Sat 13th of December.. Once again it was a great success. Heaps of prizes and giveaways. Thanks to Kaz, Tracey and Anna for a great day. Thanks to Marie Gauci and others who donated gifts. Oops lets not forget about Glouz. Cheers Glouz. 250 People turned out for the ECC Sportsman Night. A great success for the Club. Well done to Nabby who organised the night. Speakers Merv Hughes, Brendon Fevola, Billy Brownless and Brian Taylor entertained the crowd with all types of sports stories. Good to see past players in attendance, and thanks to everyone who attended. Very sad news recently with the death of ECC First X1 Premiership Captain, Life Member and gentleman Ian Monks. He will be sadly missed and was a keen reader of the ECC News. R.I.P. SISTER CLUB EMP ( Ladies Team ) Great to see over the last couple of months the EMP Ladies Cricket Team train at Windy Hill. The Ladies are adding some good spirit on the track with alot of players trying to impress. The girls seem to have the upper hand, as they are dominating the VictorianPremier Cricket Ladies competition. Good to see Melanie Jones score 87 for Victoria recently. The girl with the spray tan is in fine form.... ECC BOAT CRUISE Its on again. The ECC Boat Cruise 09. All Booked in for Sat March 7th on the Yarra. The best night of the year. Organise friends. Clint McKay is collecting money for people who attended and didnt buy a present. - If you ever go for a drink with Daniel Slevison please take a bucket and mop. - A very quiet ECC Player from postcode 3340 ( Bacchus Marsh ) has found a new venue for dates. Apparently a playground in the Gisborne area is very romantic location. - A senior club player who's name will not be mentioned turned up at a recent training session with a Hickeeee on his neck. The Editior queried the large marks on his neck. The cover up was that it happened at the gym he worked at whilst doing a recent gym session. That old chestnut... - New player to the club and 1st XI Opening batsmen, has rang Nokia Australia to get more memory in his phone. All reports suggest his phone is full of girls phone numbers. Only moving to Melbourne recently, he certainly is a hit with the ladies. - Former ECC opening batsmen Julian Hay has taken up a role with Sub District Club Oakleigh. He thinks he can get under our radar. Be great to see him back at Windy Hill - Rumour in the local West Melbourne Newspapers suggest one local male is thinking of proposing to his girlfriend. Recently buying a love pad in Middle Park, the couple are due to move in later this year. Keep saturday nights free in November... - Can you believe Australian, Victorian and Essendon player Chris Rogers left his whites at home recently. He told he editior mum was in town and she forgot to pack them for me... - The Ben Fletcher X Mas BBQ around the waiste award goes to Tim Stephens. Tim win 5 P.T sessions, hoping to get rid of the pillow under his tshirt. - Love is certainly around Left Hand opening batsmen Lucas " Keen " Kennedy. The Editior warns Sam that he will find something... - Birchips Local Radio Station 3BB, interviewed local hero and ECC fast bowler Steve Reid recently. During the interview the station was flooded with calls from local girls wanting a date with Steve at the local bakery. - Cheap Holidays ( with partners only ) see Aaron and Fletch. They are now taking booking for 2020 in Tasmania. - For cheap Cricket bats look ontop of the Keilor Cricket Club Clubroom roof. It was one of Bens better photos... - Bacchus Marsh Hairdresser picked up his $100 off the locals for his hair display of ECC Coach Darren Cullen. Cullen thought it looked good until half the town where in tears looking thru the window. - Fletch just bought a new car off Nabby recently, he asked if it could come without the scissors on the roof on the drivers side. - Barman Brian Wilson returned from his annual overseas " Love Boat Cruise". Wilso has fallen in love, with the boat or some ladies on board we are not sure.... - Emails have been sent to all Irish Pubs in New Zealand. Paul Knight is moving over there. Shares in Irish pubs have jumped. - What a day March 7 is for former ECC Player Stuart Clark. The Wedding Bells will be ringing as he says " I do ".
